PUTRAJAYA, 22 September 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA) has reinforced its commitment to sustainable water management through an engagement session with Grade J14 Civil Engineers from the Department of Irrigation and Drainage (JPS).
PETRA Secretary-General YBhg. Dato’ Sri Haji Mad Zaidi Mohd Karli held the session at Menara PETRA on Monday (21 September).
The meeting focused on sharing the ministry’s aspirations in advancing the country’s sustainable water management agenda.
It also provided an interactive platform for the Secretary-General to deliver key messages and receive direct feedback from JPS technical personnel.

The session highlighted the importance of performance, integrity and professional contribution among engineers responsible for managing the country’s water resources and supporting public well-being.
According to a post on the official Facebook page of the Ministry of Energy Transition and Water Transformation, the engagement was aimed at encouraging Grade J14 engineers to continue strengthening their contribution in line with PETRA’s vision. – The Capital Post
